Since I only saw the first half of this game, I will not post an entire analysis of it. All I can say is that after scoring a goal in only 24 seconds, Die Bayern slowly fell asleep, only to be reminded that Augsburg fight for every point in every game.
It is normal that the boys had Dortmund on their minds. I also understand, as Mario Gomez said afterwards, that you cannot blow every opponent out of the park. On the other hand, there was a surprising lack of motivation given that nobody can afford to drop points in the title race of the Bundesliga.
1:0 Franck Ribéry runs on the left wing, beats several defenders and crosses to Gomez, who shoots, takes his own rebound and scores (1′)
1:1 Boateng missed coverage, allowing a run down the left wing and a cross to Koo, who scored (23′)
2:1 On an innocent-looking attack, Robben runs down the right, passes to an unmarked Gomez, who deflects it past the keeper (60′)
